Costa Azul Horseback Riding

Gallop down an empty stretch of beach through the water at sunset or follow windy trails upwards through the lush jungle to reach breathtaking lookouts. Costa Azul maintains its own well trained horses on site. The horses are perfect for those with little or no riding experience. This trip promises a most memorable experience!

Sunset Horseback Riding:
Every day, Costa Azul offers an evening sunset horseback riding trip along our beautiful sandy mexican beaches. You'll travel past the town of San Francisco, know to the locals as "San Pancho" and even get to see what used to be home to the former President of Mexico, Luis Echevarria (1970-1976), at the far end of the beach. Rising up from the sand is a large jungle covered hill that once served as a walking path between San Pancho and Sayulita.

Jungle Horseback Riding:
For the more experienced rider, Costa Azul offers a wonderful 1.5-2 hour tour along the old cobblestone streets through the community and then upwards into the local San Pancho jungle hills. You'll see amazing Mexican architecture along your ride as you travel to the remote hill top vistas for beautiful panoramic views of the coastline. Be sure to bring your camera as this is a scene you’ll want to long remember.
