Mexico Surf Tours:
If you are a seasoned surfer, you will enjoy the early morning surf trips where our guides have mapped out the best surf and bring you there by van or boat. Daily surf tours depart every morning at 7:00 a.m. and return between noon and 2:00 p.m. The waves are excellent for both short and longboarding. The average wave size is shoulder to head-high range, sometimes bigger, sometimes smaller, depending on what Mother Nature blesses us with. The water temperature ranges from 72 to 84 degrees farenheit depending on the prevailing currents. We have access to a wide variety of surf spots, mostly point breaks, both lefts and rights, from inside the Bay of Bandares all the way north to San Blas.

What is the surf like during the summer/fall and winter/spring months?
Summer/fall months: Long period swells come in from a broad south west to south direction from 220-180 degrees and lasts 3-4 days in duration, with 1-2 days of peak intensity. During this season, you can expect somewhat more consistent surf than in the winter months with not quite as much fluctuation and unpredictability in swell height.
Winter/Spring months: Swell conditions are prime. Best surf found around Punta de Mita, Playa a la Lancha, and El Faro, where west and North West swells wrap in and create lined up perfection. Waves can be anywhere from 2-10 ft.
